AISECT Knowledge Olympiad 2014 Registrations Open

The AISECT Knowledge Olympiad 2014 will be held on November 23 at the AISECT Centres across the country. The two-hour test will cover sections of General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, General Science, Numerical Ability and Computer Knowledge. Winners will be awarded Tablets, Smartphones and Eduvantage content (EduvantagePRO, a part of AISECT, offers students multimedia education content). A participation certificate will be awarded. cusat to host ICEEMS’14

The Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Safety and Fire Engineering divisions of School of Engineering, CUSAT, Kochi, will be organising an International Conference on Energy, Environment, Materials and Safety (ICEEMS’14) from Decemeber 10 to 12. UG and PG Students/PhD scholars can apply. Prof Chem Nayar, Emeritus Professor at Curtin University, Prof Faisal Khan, Vale Research Chair of Process Safety and Risk Engineering and Prof John Tharakan, College of Engineering, Architecture and Computer Sciences, Howard University, US, are some of the keynote speakers. Two-day course on Aero Engine Technologies

International Institute for Aerospace Engineering and Management (IIAEM), a collaborative venture between Jain University and Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI), is organising a two-day course on Aero Engine Technologies. This course will be held on November 11 and 12, at Aeronautical Society of India, Bangalore, from 9 am to 5 pm. The two-day course will explore current trends in Aero-Gas Turbine Propulsion, and the state-of-the-art and emerging technologies in Civil and Military Aero Engines.
