KOLLAM: Pathanapuram constituency which was noted for its star studded candidates had become the talk of the town overnight following the arrival of actor Mohanlal and the controversy followed after it.
It was on Thursday night that the senior actor arrived at Pathanapuram sharing dais with LDF candidate K B Ganesh Kumar. Addressing a large number of people, who had thronged there, Mohanlal said that "I had arrived here as an elder brother of Ganesh.
Though I was scheduled to come here much earlier it got delayed due to a foreign trip". Meanwhile, UDF candidate Jagadeesh had came down heavily on the actor as well as against Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) as he said that earlier the association had ensured a neutral approach on election campaigning related matters.
Jagadish also points out that after the incident he received several calls in which many had mentioned about "alleged blackmailing" by Ganesh. Though Jagadish desist to get into the detail of the same. In protest against the act of Mohanlal, actor Salim Kumar had tendered his resignation from AMMA.
