Vijay, chief of TVK, on Wednesday released the party’s official campaign anthem—a high-energy track centred on social justice and Tamil identity—on his social media platforms.

The launch comes a day before the actor-turned-politician is scheduled to file his nomination for the Tiruchirappalli East constituency.

The anthem, which reflects the party’s “secular social justice” ideology, is expected to be a highlight at Vijay’s major campaign rally at Marakkadai on Thursday.

The Tiruchirappalli City Police have issued a conditional NOC for the event, following a massive roadshow at Perambur in Chennai earlier this week.

Vijay is contesting from both Perambur and Tiruchirappalli East in the April 23 Assembly elections.
