If dedication is the name of the game, then Sindhu, it seems, has in her what it takes to be a winner.

The pretty actress, who plays the role of the second heroine in Elred Kumar’s Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal, had to recently slog it out to keep her end of the bargain. And guess what, she did it in style with no problems whatsoever.

Yes, the actress had to work continuously for four days and nights without any rest to finish her portions in two films.

Says Sindhu, who is also known as Yashika, “I had to shoot for Muppozhudum in Karpanaigal in Chennai and simultaneously work on another Telugu project in Hyderabad called Mr Lavangam. So, what I would do was work from six in the morning till six in the evening in Hyderabad. Then, take a flight and arrive at Chennai to join the MUK crew for a night shoot. I would work till dawn and then head back again to Hyderabad to work on the Telugu project. This went on consecutively for three days. On the fourth day, I had my first Tamil film Vaada Poda Nanbargal releasing and so, had to be there. Therefore, it was only after the fourth day that I could actually take some rest.”

Four days of work at a stretch can be taxing for any individual. No wonder then that the director is impressed with her effort.

Says Sindhu, “Elred Kumar sir would keep asking me, ‘How is it you keep working without rest for days like this?’ But I guess I managed quite well.”

The actress, who has acted in quite a number of Kannada and Telugu films including Life Ishtene and Mareyalaare, hopes to make it big with Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal, which stars Amala Paul and Atharvaa in the lead.

But how did she become a part of this project in the first place? The actress informs, “I knew director Ganesh, who was the director of this project initially as I have worked with him before. He was the one who offered this role to me and I accepted. However, Ganesh sir chose to move out of this project after a while and director Elred Kumar took over.”
