Kamal's ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’ postponed to September

Padmashree Kamal Haasan has completed shooting for ‘Unnai Pol Oruvan’–remake of Bollywood blockbuster ‘A Wednesday’. Earlier, the actor had announced about releasing this film on August 12, as it marks ‘Golden Jubilee’ of his filmdom (Kamal Haasan made his debut as a child artist with ‘Kalathur Kanamma’ released on August 12, 1959).

His close friends, fans and relatives requested him to release the film on same day as it would be a grand fiesta for all his buffs. But now sources have revealed that the post production process and few patch-up works are still pending. Likely, the film’s release has been postponed to September. More than that, Kamal Haasan was keen about not releasing this film with other big tickets ‘Kanthaswamy’ releasing in August.- R. Richard Mahesh/ Sampurn Media
