The makers of the Mamitha Baiju-Sangeeth Prathap starrer have announced the film's title as Hello Dear and unveiled its first look on Friday through social media. The poster features Mamitha and Sangeeth sharing a playful, romantic moment as they lean against a railing. The accompanying caption reads, "A Hello. A mess. A love story."

Directed by debutant Dinoy Paulose, Hello Dear marks the reunion of the Premalu co-stars. Dinoy is known for co-writing the 2019 blockbuster Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, in which he also appeared in a supporting role. He later scripted and played the lead in Pathrosinte Padappukal and Visudha Mejo.

Hello Dear is billed as a romantic comedy set against the backdrop of a metropolitan city and told from the perspective of today’s youth. Suresh Krishna also plays a prominent role in the film, which is currently being shot in Kochi.

Ashiq Usman is producing Hello Dear under the banner of Ashiq Usman Productions, with director Arun D Jose serving as co-producer. The film marks the production house's 20th outing. On the technical front, it has cinematography by Akhil George, editing by Chaman Chakko and music by Govind Vasantha. Details regarding the film's plot and extended cast are yet to be disclosed.

Mamitha’s upcoming slate includes two Tamil films: the romantic fantasy Irandu Vaanam, co-starring Vishnu Vishal, and the tentatively titled PRS 01, which reunites the Bethlehem Kudumba Unit actor with her Dude co-star Pradeep Ranganathan.

Sangeeth will next be seen in Shyamin Gireesh's It’s A Medical Miracle, marking his first outing as a lead actor, alongside Sharaf U Dheen. The Premalu actor is also headlining Athiran filmmaker Vivek's upcoming mystery thriller, with Anna Ben as the female lead.
