Karnataka State Darshan Fans Association had urged Soorappa Babu to seek an apology to Meena Toogudeepa, wife of veteran actor Toogudeepa Srinivas for abusing the actor with foul language in a recorded video that was broadcasted on a private news channel.
Confessing his mistake, Soorapa Babu said. " I have lost my mother 12 years ago. I consider Meena Toogudeepa Srinivas as my mother. I request her to forgive me and would fall at my mother's feat as whatever was in the video clip was unintentional. I am approaching the cyber crime branch to find out who leaked out the video clips and put forward the issue with the chamber."
Addressing the fans Meena Toogudeepa Srinivas said "Makkale (Children) if you permit I will excuse him’. This should not be repeated."
