For ‘Action Prince’ Dhruva Sarja, life is a constant call for action. And for his upcoming film, tentatively titled Jabardast, he is taking the extra effort to respond with an intense punch. The actor will be going abroad to train under a Hollywood action choreographer, according to sources.
“There is no doubt that Dhruva has a talent for stunts, but the training by a Hollywood choreographer will help him specialise in a few more,” says our source. “It will only help a hero whose movies are mostly based on action.”
Although director Nanda Kishore and Dhruva were to remake the Telugu romantic-action-comedy film Kandireega, they dropped the idea and waited for about two years to zero in on an original script. That’s how they came upon Jabardast, which will be produced by Gangadhar.
Nanda Kishore, who is in the post-production work of Tiger and Mukunda Murari, will simultaneously start shooting for Manoranjan’s VIP and Dhruva's film from September. The latter is currently busy with Bharjari shoot.
The film directed by Chetan will see Dhruva in six major action sequences. While they have completed four, the makers will be shooting the rest two stunts in the coming days.
Dhruva is hopeful of completing work on this film by August end, after which he will concentrate on Kishore’s project.
