CHENNAI: Renn Johnson (23), son of Johnson (late), a popular film music composer in Kerala, died in a road accident near Madhya Kailash in the city on
Saturday.
Renn of Ashtalakshmi Nagar, Valsaravakkam, sustained injuries on his head after the two-wheeler, which he was riding, hit a woman pedestrian and ran over the median. He was admitted to the government hospital, Royapettah, where he died.
An employee of an IT company at Perungudi for the past seven months, Renn was on his way to work on when the accident took place around 10 am, police said.
The woman pedestrian, who was yet to be identified, was admitted to Government General Hospital and her condition was said to be critical. Renn Johnson is survived by his mother Rani and sister Shan. His father, Johnson, passed away in August last year.
