The Jayasurya-Vinayakan starrer Titans will hit theatres on October 1, the makers announced on Sunday through social media. The release date was revealed alongside a new poster featuring the principal cast. Helmed by Anugraheethan Antony director Prince Joy, the upcoming film is scripted by James Sebastian, co-writer of Janamaithri.
Titans, billed as a fantasy comedy, also stars Suresh Krishna, Indrans, Manikandan R Achari, rapper Baby Jean and social media content creator Nihal Nizam, along with several newcomers. The film has cinematography by Vishnu Sharma, editing by Shameer Muhammed and music by Dawn Vincent. It is jointly produced by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Irshad M Hassan and Pradeep CS.
Titans marks another collaboration between Jayasurya and Vinayakan, who have previously shared screen space in Chathikkatha Chanthu, Iyobinte Pusthakam and the Aadu franchise.
Jayasurya, who is currently shooting Kalamkaval filmmaker Jithin K Jose’s Mayan - Chapter 1, is also awaiting the release of his much-anticipated biggie Kathanar - The Wild Sorcerer. The Vellam actor additionally has composer Ratheesh Vega's directorial debut Operation Tral, a military action thriller that wrapped up shooting recently, in the pipeline.
