DEBUTANT Arulnithi couldn’t ask for more than this as his grandfather and Chief Minister M Karunanidhi launched the audio and trailer of his film Vamsam. leading stars of Kollywood — Suriya and Vijay — received the first copy of the audio and director Sasi Kumar and lyricist Vaali received the trailer of the film from the CM. The event was a grand affair with who’s who of Kollywood turning up at the Sathyam Theatres and the ministers walking on a red carpet.
When the trailer and opening song of the film were screened, the audience comprising mostly of Arulnithi’s friends whistled and encouraged the new actor. Though Arulnithi didn’t speak at the launch, he remained humble throughout the Sunaina, the only woman grabbed the attention audience with her flowery saree. Music director former associate R Rahman, has scored the music. Produced by Mohana Movies’ M K Tamilarasu, Pasanga fame Pandiraj has directed the movie. Later speaking on the occasion, the CM wished Arulnithi to get the fame of both Suriya and Vijay together in his film career.
