Simbu-starrer 'Osthi’s audio will be released on October 19. And this time it won’t be just a single track, but the entire album. “Releasing a single track has become a trend now. But we don’t want to stick to it. In fact, all five songs were ready 15 days ago,” says music director Thaman.
As 'Osthi' is a commercial film, the 'Eeram'-fame music director seems to have preferred genres of different kinds including folk and melody apart from fast numbers. Thaman says the three tracks — 'Osthi Mama...', 'Kala sala...' and 'Pondati...' — will be the immediate hits. 'Pondati...' is not a kuthu song as it may sound, but a melody penned and sung by Simbu himself.
According to Thaman, all five tracks are one-of-a-kind tunes and have been remade from 'Dabaang' (Hindi).
“The album will surely be enjoyed by Simbu fans. Another highlight of the album is that veteran singer LR Eshwari is also a part of it. 'Kala sala...' will be her comeback song to movies in which she has sung along with T Rajender. Mallika Sherawat will be seen dancing with Simbu for the number.
Thaman is currently working on music for Arivuazhagan’s 'Vallinam' and 'Businessman' in Telugu. He will also launch his band, 'Thakkali', next year.
