Actor Rakul seems to be having a good time shooting for Puthagam which marks the directorial debut of anchor-actor Vijay Adiraj. The Miss India People's Choice 2011, who took a short break after the first schedule, has joined the crew on Friday for shooting in the city.

Puthagam is said to be a romcom and Rakul shares screen space with Arya's brother Sathya, who makes his debut with this film. Rakul says Vijay Adiraj is a great person to be associated with. "He makes sure everybody is comfortable even at difficult situations during shooting," says Rakul.

Vijay Adiraj approached her for the movie when Rakul was in Chennai for an ad campaign and she immediately accepted the role of a bubbly yet intelligent journalist.

While Rakul's first film Yuvan failed to make a mark, her second film Thadaiyara Thakka in which she has played a small but important role has just released.
