'I didn't ask Bharath to get six-pack abs!'

Venkadesan S

Sasi, whose still-to-be released film Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu (555) with Bharath in the lead, says he never asked Bharath to muscle up or develop a six-pack phsique. “Only through a newspaper article did I came to know that he is attempting to build a six-pack physique for my film. I immediately called and asked him what was going on. Bharath told me it would be more convincing if he had a muscular body for the climax fight in 555. So, it is something Bharath wishfully did on his own,” says Sasi.

Even though Sasi initially thought that the six-pack was not necessary, he says he was convinced after seeing photographs of Bharath after he developed the muscles. “I felt like the photos reminded me that I’m directing an action flick,” he says. The climax fight sequence in 555 will be 12-minutes long.

Sasi says 555 be talked about for its screenplay, which he developed from the twist suggested by his assistants. “I have given the credit for the story to my assistants — Aravind and Suresh, and they have bagged offers to direct their debut films now,” says Sasi, proudly. 555 is slated to release soon.
