Director A Govinda Moorthy, who has already made a mark with his previous films - Karuppasamy Kuthagaikaarar and Vedigundu Murugesan - has completed shooting for his next film titled Pappaali. While actors Karan and Pasupathy played lead roles in his earlier films, actor Senthil, who became popular through a TV serial, is playing hero in Pappaali. This is the second film in which Senthil plays the lead role after Kan Pesum Vaarthaigal. Ishara, a newcomer, plays his pair. Her other Tamil film Venmegam with actor Vidharth is yet to hit the screens.

According to the director, the film will be a laugh riot just like his previous film Vedigundu Murugesan, but with a message in the climax. “The hero runs a tiffin centre on a pushcart. How the heroine’s parents lend him a helping hand after their daughter falls in love with him, is what Pappaali is about,” says Govinda Moorthy.

Actor Nirosha returns to silverscreen after a long time with Pappaali and has shaken a leg for a song. Actors Ilavarasu, Saranya, Singampuli and Jegan plays important roles in the film. Composer Vijay Ebenezer has scored music for the film. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens soon.
