Though the buzz about Trisha breaking her engagement with producer Varun Manian has still not died down on social media, Trisha seems to have put the whole episode far behind and moved on. On Tuesday, the actor, who was celebrating her 31st birthday, posted a video of her happy self dancing with her friends. With the wishes from thousands of her fans flooding her wall as early as Monday evening, Trisha posted “My tweeps, well wishers, fans and friends. I am overwhelmed. Thank you for the wishes.” And in between replying to the innumerable wishes from celebrities like Khushbu Sundar, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simbu, Madhavan and Jayam Ravi among others, Trisha took time to announce to her fans about her latest project.

“On my special day, too happy to announce that I will be playing the lead in Aranmanai 2, under Sundar C sir’s direction for the very first time,” she tweeted.  It has been reported that Trisha might be pairing up with Sidharth in Aranmanai 2. Earlier, they have worked together in Telugu movie Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana and Tamil film Aayutha Ezhuthu.

Meanwhile, Trisha has also signed up for a film by director Selvaraghavan.

“Eight years of Aadavari Matlaku Ardhalae Verulae (a Telugu movie) #superteam #memories #filmfareaward. Thank you @selvaraghavan for one of my best roles,” she had tweeted recently.

She also followed it up with a photo of herself with Selvaraghavan with a caption that said, “Sublimely happy to be on board with the genius.”
