Sunny Wayne-starrer Saradhi to have a Tamil version

Director Raj Babu, known for movies like Kangaroo and Chess, is making a  Tamil movie inspired from Sunny Wayne and Nedumudi Venu starrer Saradhi.

The movie titled Sei that will have Tamil actor Nakul in the lead is being shot at various locations, including Kochi.

“Yes, my next venture Sei is inspired by Saradhi. However, you cant call it a total remake. It is rather a loose inspiration of Saradhi. The story has been tweaked and twisted to appeal to Tamil audience,” says Raj Babu.

Sei will have Nakul as a slum boy who aspires to make it big in movies. Bollywood actor Anjal Munjal will make her South debut opposite Nakul in the movie which also stars Prakash Raj and Nasser.
