Child labourers rescued, rehabilitated under National Child Labour Project climbs 45 per cent

The number of child labourers rescued and rehabilitated under the National Child Labour Project (NCPL) has gone up by 46.3 per cent in India, according to the labour ministry's data. From 30,979 kids in 2016-17, the number of such children swelled to 45,344 in 2017-18.
