The world of Rudra and Siva: Pictures from Bejoy Nambiar-Dulquer Salmaan thriller 'Solo'

Solo is an upcoming anthology film by Bejoy Nambiar, made in Tamil and Malayalam. The movie stars Dulquer Salmaan, Neha Sharma, Sruthi Hariharan, Sai Dhansika and Dino Morea.

Solo is a collection of four different stories on earth, water, fire, and wind, all with a mythical touch. The stories are simple, but with a unique template.

According to director Bejoy Nambiar he didn’t plan it the film as a bilingual. 'I wanted to tell an interesting story... that’s all. Moreover, I don’t think Tamil cinema has had many successful anthologies in the past. It isn’t easy to make one.', says Nambiar. (Photo | Facebook)

Bejoy says that it was Dulquer’s idea to make the film a bilingual, since he has a huge fan following in both Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

Eleven composers and three cinematographers have worked on Solo.

The film has songs in Tamil, English, Hindi, and Malayalam including tracks by artists like Thaikkudam Bridge, Masala Coffee, and Sooraj Kurup.

The film also has actors Manoj K Jayan, Prakash Belawadi and filmmaker Qaushik Mukherje playing important characters. Musicians Govind Menon and Siddharth Menon plays musicians in the film.

Actors Nassar and Suhasini play the parents of Dulquer's character Rudra in the movie.

Actress Sai Dhansika is reportedly playing a visually-challenged dancer in the film.
