KARIMNAGAR/SECUNDERABAD: The long cherished dream of the people of erstwhile Nizambad and Karimnagar districts became a reality on Saturday, when a train was flagged off by railway minister Suresh Prabhu from Secunderabad station. The railway line has been laid from Nizamabad to Pedapalli.

BJP national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao welcomed the train at Karimnagar railway station. It may be recalled that in 1993, the then Prime Minister PV Narsimha Rao laid a foundation stone for Peddapalli-Nizamabad railway line. But the works got delayed due to lack of funds.

Prabhu, along with Nizamabad MP K Kavitha, inaugurated the line at Secunderabad station.
