Delhi Police arrested a man for allegedly defacing a wall of the Parliament Street police station with graffiti during a protest linked to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. He was later released on bail on Sunday.

A case was registered under the Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Property Act, the source said.

The accused, identified as Karan, a resident of Jharkhand, allegedly wrote graffiti on the wall of the police station during the demonstration, said the sources.

According to police, the accused was identified with the help of CCTV footage and subsequently arrested. However, as the offences invoked in the case are bailable, Karan was granted bail after his arrest, he said.
