KOCHI: As per section 4 Sales of Goods Act and RBI Act 45 i (bb) V (d), any individual can buy gold through advance booking. Legal action has been initiated against false propaganda spread by vested interests to tarnish the image of Chemmanur International Group, which has a trusted tradition of 155 years and 43 showrooms with 7,000 employees in India, Kuwait, Malaysia and the US.
The company’s turnover is `2,500 crore and has assets worth `1,550 crore, said Dr Boby Chemmanur, chairman and managing director of the group.
