KOCHI: Kochi Mayor Soumini Jain inaugurated Star Choyz Convention Centre at Vyttila here on Monday, one of the largest such facilities in the city. 


On the occasion, Corporation councillor Nisha Dinesh inaugurated Marigold Centre, which is part of the convention centre. Child artist Isha inaugurated the birthday hall.


Star Choyz managing director Sujil Paul welcomed the gathering. Kerala Chamber of Commerce chairman Raja Sethunath, Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopanasamathi district general secretary Raju Kannampuzha, All-Kerala Caters’ Association area secretary C B Sajeeven, Gold Souk resident director V Aboobacker, C C Foundation chairman Dr Joseph and Star Choyz Caterers chairman Junaid Seth spoke.


Star Choyz Convention Centre comprises three air-conditioned halls of ‘five star’ standard. The centre, which has capacity to accommodate 3,000 persons, is suitable for international conferences, exhibitions, seminars and marriage parties. It also features ‘mall-based’ facilities. 


The convention centre is the latest venture from Star Choyz, after successfully foraying into the catering sector.
