Motorola Mobility Tuesday launched its affordable smartphone the Moto E, priced at Rs.6,999.

“The Moto E would be exclusively available on Flipkart.com for as little as Rs.6,999 starting tonight at 00:00 hours. India was the first market where the phone was unveiled followed by launches in five other countries in the world,” the company said in a statement here.

The phone is targeted at buyers who are price sensitive and those who have not been able to experience internet on their feature phones, said Magnus Ahlqvist, corporate vice president, EMEA & APAC, Motorola Mobility.

The dual SIM Moto E has a high-resolution 4.3 inches display and it runs on latest version of Android platform.

Motorola Mobility creates smartphones, tablets and wireless accessories and is owned by Google.
