Elephone Enters India, Launches G7 Smartphone on Snapdeal

Elephone, the Chinese handset maker, entered the Indian market with the launch of a new smartphone exclusively on Snapdeal.

NEW DELHI: Elephone, the Chinese handset maker, on Wednesday entered the Indian market with the launch of a new smartphone exclusively on Snapdeal.

The new smartphone, named Elephone G7, will be available at Rs.8,888 on Snapdeal in black, white and gold colour options. The device, which runs on Android Kitkat, will feature a a 5.5 mm metallic frame body and a 5.5-inch HD display.

The G7 will ship with a Mediatek 6592M octa-core processor, a 1GB RAM unit along with 8GB of internal storage. The phone will sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.0 aperture lens and flash. The front shooter will be a 8-megapixel unit.

Currently, Shenzen-based Elephone has an annual sales volume of over 10,000,000 devices in Europe, North America, South America and West Asia.
