His $50-million fund has so far invested in 14 companies, mostly in the US but with almost half having back offices in India. In next 1-2 years, he will invest in 10-15 Indian companies with a size of about $50,000 to $2 million

Has over 23+ years experience in the internet, enterprise software and wireless infrastructure sector. In 2001, Sharma co-founded Teltier Technologies, a wireless infrastructure start-up, which is now part of Cisvo. He is one of the active Indian angel investors with investments in more than 20 start-ups

He helped launch Hyderabad Angels, a platform to provide seed capital to start-ups. His first venture Euclid, an IT management software firm, was started in1999 and holds US patents in communications and networking. Some of his investments include Seclore OneBreath MediAngels (Global eHospital)
