An eight-year-old girl was killed here in an attack by a leopard near Katarniaghat wildlife sanctuary here, forest department officials said today.
Reshma was attacked by a leopard while she was sleeping in the courtyard of her house yesterday located on the outskirts of the Katarniaghat sanctuary, 85 kilometres from Bahraich, they said.
The body was later recovered from the forest, the officials added.
