BARPETA (ASSAM): Security forces today recovered electronic detonators and gun powder from inside a passenger bus in Barpeta district of Assam, police said.

A joint team of Assam Police and the Army found 200 pieces of electronic detonators and gun powder from inside a cement bag in the bus.

It was not clear to whom that cement bag belonged and no one was arrested.

Police said that the driver was interrogated but he expressed ignorance about the items in the bag.

The bus was coming from Latumbai in Meghalaya to Barpeta Road town in Barpeta district of Assam.
