Delhi police cyber cell has filed a case against unknown persons on the basis of complaint filed by Rajya Sabha MP Sasikala Pushpa. According to a press statement issued by her office, Sasikala has alleged that some morphed pictures and obscene articles against her have been posted on websites and widely circulated in Social media (Whatsapp, facebook, youtube, etc).
"The cyber unit of Delhi Police has filed an FIR under sections of IPC and IT Act," her office said.
Sasikala has blamed 15 peeople involved in the conspiracy of defaming her. According to the cops her statement will be recorded soon. "We have received her (Sasikala Pushpa) complaint and have filed a case, we will call her to record her statement. We have also asked other technical details from her as well," a Delhi police official said.
