Income Tax department searches at 30 places of two business houses

LUDHIANA: The Income Tax department today conducted searches at about 30 places including offices and residences of two business houses and also the home of a Ludhiana Municipal Corporation officer, an official said.

Raids were also simultaneously conducted at Khanna and Ambala (Haryana), the official said.

The operation was supervised by Ritesh Parmar, Additional Director of Income tax department, he added.

A large number of documents were seized from the premises, the official added.
