At least five people were killed after a car was hit by a trailer truck on NH-6 in Kharagpur's Basantapur area of West Bengal on Sunday.

KHARAGPUR: At least five people were killed after a car was hit by a trailer truck on NH-6 in Kharagpur's Basantapur area of West Bengal on Sunday.

It is reported that all those present in the car were travelling from Tamluk, East Midnapur to Kharagpur.

The deceased include the driver of the car as well. As reported, four people died on the spot while one died on the way to the hospital.

All the dead bodies have been sent to Midnapore Hospital.
