CHANDIGARH: The Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Haryana Police arrested the CEO of a business venture run by Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda on Tuesday in connection with the violence that erupted following the conviction of the sect’s head Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh in a rape case on August 25.
CP Arora, the CEO of MSG Group of Companies and a chartered accountant with Dera, was allegedly involved in money laundering. A case was registered against him and he has been sent to six days police remand.

Arora  had fled from Panchkula along with Dera spokesman Aditya Insan after a look out notice was issued against both Honeypreet and Aditya by the Haryana Police.Meanwhile, two persons identified as Gurmeet Singh and Sharanjit Kaur of Jangirana village in Bathinda district of Punjab were arrested on Monday under the charges of harbouring Honeypreet Insan, said police.

Honeypreet, who was on the run for 38 days, had taken shelter at their place, said police.
