BHUBANESWAR: Five Left parties took out a rally on Thursday calling for peace and harmony in Bhadrak which witnessed communal tension last week.
Hundreds of workers and senior leaders of CPI (M), CPI (ML) Liberation, SUCI (Communist) and Forward Block took out a procession from Bhubaneswar Railway Station till PMG Square.

The Left activists slammed the local administration for failing to control the tension.
It is important for the communities to maintain harmony lest communal forces will take advantage of it, secretary of CPI, Odisha Dibakar Nayak said.
