Siliguri, Oct 21 (PTI) An explosion led to a fire onthe top floor of a multi-storey building near Purnami Mandiron Sevoke Road here but there was no report of any casualty.
Two fire engines rushed to the spot but the localpeople had almost doused the flames by then.
A fire brigade official claimed that deodorant bottlesand firecrackers stored on the top floor of the 7-storeybuilding led to the explosion.
Police, however, have not confirmed the exact cause ofexplosion yet.
The incident created a panic among local people but noone was hurt, a police official said. PTI CorRMS.
