Hyderabad, Oct 27 (PTI) Hyderabad Software EnterprisesAssociation (HYSEA) and International Institute of InformationTechnology Hyderabad (IIIT-H) today signed an MoU to furtherthe cause of technology and enhance the industry-academiacollaboration.

"As part of this effort HYSEA plans to conductseminars, workshops on emerging technologies towards helpingthe engineers and mid-level managers in the industry stayabreast with technology and relevant research in collaborationwith IIIT, Hyderabad," a release said.

As technologies like AI and Machine Learning become"more mainstream" and the gap between research and industryreduces, it is important that both industry and academiacollaborate in meaningful ways, it said.

"Some of the emerging technologies proposed to becovered as part of the TechSeries include ArtificialIntelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Automation, Internetof Things (IoT), and Advanced Analytics and Data Sciences,"the release quoted the Chief Operating Officer of HYSEA, RSrinivas Rao, and Ramesh Loganathan, Professor- Co-Innovation,IIIT-H, as saying.
