NEW DELHI: Indian star batsman Virat Kohli, who was out of action for the first three matches of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) due to a shoulder injury he sustained during the third Test against Australia in Ranchi, has announced his return for the team’s crucial clash against Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League this Friday.

Taking to social media, Kohli posted a video of him sweating it out in the gym and lifting weights, clearly a sign of his excellent fitness.

RCB will be waiting with baited breath for Kohli’s return as they have only one win from their three outings to date, however, there is no official confirmation on the comeback yet.

Last week, the skipper had announced that he would not return to the IPL until he was “120 per cent” fit, as he wanted to ensure his fitness for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.

The Royal Challengers will face the Mumbai Indians at Chinnaswamy Stadium in their second home game of the tournament.
