VIJAYAWADA: Congress corporator M V Ratna Bindu was unanimously elected the ninth Mayor of Vijayawada Municipal Corporation at a specially convened Council meeting here today.
Congress floor leader proposed the name of Ratna indu and Dputy Mayor S Narasa Raju supported her candidature after Joint Collector and returning officer B Ramaiah announced the election.
