HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh Handicrafts Development Corporation Limited (APHDCL) is organising ``Lepakshi Nandi’’ notebook sales in twin cities from June 1 to 30, 2009. A 10 percent special discount would be offered to the customers during this period.
According to a press release here, APHDCL Managing Director V Venkatramaiah informed that the book sales would be through Lepakshi outlets in twin cities i.e. Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium at Gunfoundry, Lepakshi export oriented showroom, Musheerabad and Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium at Minerva Complex in Secunderabad.
Sales were intended to provide quality notebooks to schoolchildren.
As for the price, cost of a 192- page short-bound book would be Rs.12, Rs.8 for a 96-page short bound, Rs.22 for 192-page long unbound, Rs.12 for 96-page long unbound and Rs.15 for 164-page crown unbound.
Noted cine artist Gundu Hanumantha Rao will inaugurate the book sales at Lepakshi Emporium near Gunfoundry on June 1 at 11.30 a.m. Lepakshi outlets would be open for the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and on all working days, the release said.
