PALAKONDA (SRIKAKULAM): Srikakulam Zilla Parishad chairman Palavalasa Rajasekharam of Congress joined YSR Congress Party at a public meeting here on Sunday. The meeting was attended by a large number of Rajasekahram followers from Rajam, Palakonda, Budithi, Veeraghattam, Seethampeta, Amadalavalasa and Srikakulam. Narasannapeta MLA Dharmana Krishna Das and Tekkali MLA K Bharathi also of Congress had earlier joined the YSR Congress.
Addressing the meeting, Rajasekharam said he was vexed with Congress’s anti-people policies. After discussion with his followers, he decided to join the YSR Congress, he said.
