TTD vigilance and security sleuths busted sale of fake Rs 300 special entry darshan tickets racket here on Thursday and caught four persons allegedly involved in it.

TTD chief vigilance officer GVG Ashok Kumar said that following credible information, the vigilance personnel detected duplicate copies of the tickets being sold by four youths - MG Kumar, Saravana, Sankaraiah and Chandra Mohan.

They were duplicating tickets by using carbon paper while printing original tickets. They admitted that on Nov 11 alone they sold 27 duplicate tickets incurring a loss of Rs 60,900 to the TTD. The pilgrims who purchased the duplicate tickets also received two laddus from the laddu counter. The accused have been taken into custody.
