Divis Labs Lauded for Zero Accidents

VISAKHAPATNAM: The probability of accidents is directly proportional to the number of limitations, said joint chief Inspector of Factories Chandra Sekhar Varma. Addressing the valedictory of the 44th safety week celebrations at Divis Laboratories Ltd., Chippada, Chandra Sekhar Varma said that the factory would be cent per cent safe when each of its employees follow safety precautions. He appreciated the management and employees of Divis for achieving zero accidents over the past one year. Later, he visited the ‘Safety Exhibition’. General manager and head of Environment, Health and Safety Management Systems (EHSMS) LV Ramana Varma read the annual safety report. Divis director Madhusudana Rao Divi praised the employees for their valiant effort exhibited during cyclone Hudhud which enabled the plant to come out of the calamity with little disturbance. General managers P Ramaiah Chowdary, S Devendra Rao, M Ramesh Babu, P Srinivasa Rao and MSN Rao were present.
