VIJAYAWADA: Dr Pinnamaneni and Smt Seethadevi Foundation will honour spiritual scholar Chaganti Koteswara Rao and renowned photographer Tamma Srinivasa Reddy at its 26th Annual Awards function to be held at Siddhartha Open Auditorium of P B Siddhartha Arts and Science College here.

The highlight of the awards presentation ceremony spread over three days from December 14 to 16 is that Changati will deliver discourses on all the three days for the benefit of the residents of the city. According to foundation managing trustee Dr C Nageswara Rao, the foundation was established in December 1989 by the family of Dr Pinnameneni Venkateswara Rao and his wife Smt Seethadevi in recognition of their services in various fields of activity.

The aim of the foundation is to honour eminent persons in the fields of literature, culture, fine arts, medicine, science, sports and social services every year with cash and a citation, arrange cultural and literary programmes and sponsor extension and endowment lectures.
Changanti Koteswara Rao’s pravachanams are very popular among the people of the the state and he has been bestowed with titles Upanysa Chakravarthi and Sarada Jnana Putra. Tamma Srinivasa Reddy is popular in the world of photography and has earned international acclaim.
