Technical glitches delay Spicejet flight to H'bad

Express News Service

VISAKHAPATNAM: Technical snags delayed the schedule of the Visakhapatnam- Hyderabad SpiceJet flight SG 468 by one and a half hours at Visakhapatnam airport.

The flight was scheduled to take off at 7.45 pm. As the flight picked up speed on the run way, the pilot noticed some technical snags in the aircraft and brought the aircraft to a halt.

Even as the flight was yet to take off, the passengers counted some anxious moments as the crew members could not open the door and the air conditioner stopped working.

Singer Ghazal Srinivas who was travelling in the flight said that the crew members did not give any information as to when the flight would resume operation and this  worried the passengers who had to catch connecting flights in Hyderabad.

However, the engineering staff fixed the snags and after a thorough checking they announced that the flight was ready for the journey.

Finally, the flight took off from the cirty airport at 9.24 pm.
