HYDERABAD: Days after attacking YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for not renting a house in Amaravati for his stay, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, along with his family members, occupied his newly-built palatial house on the wee hours of Monday. Interestingly, the house was built not in Amaravati but at Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad.

Naidu, his wife Bhuvaneswari, son and AP minister Lokesh, daughter-in-law Brahmini, grandson Devansh along with Naidu’s brother-in-law and film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna’s family moved into the newly-built house during the house warming ceremony, conducted away from the media glare.

According to sources, Naidu’s new house was constructed in tune with latest trends with many ultra-modern facilities in three floors. Two years ago, the old house in which the CM’s family had been living for about 30 years, was demolished. In place of it, a modern house has been constructed now.

After demolishing the old house, the family, for few days, stayed in a rented house in Jubilee Hills. Later, they moved to their farmhouse in the city. After that, they shifted to a five star hotel in Banjara Hills. Since then, they had been living in the star hotel.

According to TDP sources, Naidu will go to New Delhi to take part in NDA partners’ meeting on Monday from Hyderabad.

Though Naidu and his son Lokesh are at present staying in Amaravati as the ‘seat of power’ completly shifted to the new capital of AP, they do not own a house in the new capital. At present, Naidu made the Lingamaneni guesthouse in Undavalli of Tadepalli mandal in Guntur as his official camp residence.
