GUNTUR: The TDP leaders and activists conducted a walkathon demanding special category status for the State from Chilakaluripeta to Kotappakonda temple in Guntur district on Wednesday.The TDP leaders submitted a memorandum to Lord Trikoteswara Swamy after performing special puja at the hill shrine.

Civil Supplies Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao participated in the walkathon which was organised by Dr. YSR Horticultural University Board of Management member P Sivarama Krishna.The Minister said the BJP cheated the people by not granting SCS.He informed that the TDP would continue the protest till special category status was granted to AP.
