VIJAYAWADA: Health Minister Y Satya Kumar Yadav on Tuesday said the BJP‑led NDA would extend its Assembly election momentum into upcoming local body polls, stressing alliance coordination for a decisive mandate.
Speaking after the BJP State Local Bodies Election Committee meeting, he said discussions covered preparedness and strategy, with Shiv Prakash Ji guiding leaders on grassroots mobilisation. A committee will identify candidates, while the State is divided into four zones for streamlined management.
Yadav said the government is reviving the economy through infrastructure projects, citing PM Modi’s recent Bhogapuram airport visit.
He asserted the government is committed to free, fair and democratic elections.
