THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Akkitham Narayanan, Anila Jacob and Sadanand Menon have been selected for this year’s Kerala Lalithakala Akademi awards, announced here on Monday.
Akkitham has been selected for the K C S.Paniker award for his contributions in the art and crafts field. The award carries a cash prize of Rs.50,000, a plaque and citation.
Anila Jacob has bagged the T K Padmini award for her contribution in the art and crafts field.
The award carries a cash prize of Rs.30,000, a plaque and citation.
Sadananda Menon has been selected for the Kesari Puraskaram for his contributions in the research-oriented studies in the history of arts and aesthetics.

Surendaran Nair and Bose Krishnmachari have been selected for this year’s two fellowships for their contributions in the filed of art and crafts.
