PATHANAMTHITTA: The 23rd Nilackal-Parumala pilgrimage, organised by the Nilackal-Parumala Theerthataka Sangham, will be held from October 31 to November 2.

The pilgrimage will leave Nilackal on October 31 morning after the special ritual to be held under the leadership of Rev Yuhananon Ramban, head of the Superior Holy Trinity Ashramam at Ranni. Fr Johnson Kallittathil, Fr Ignatius George, Fr V A Stephan, Fr Ebi Varghese, Fr Jacob Pappachen and Fr Bobin Koshy will offer felicitations.

The pilgrimage team will be given receptions at Angamoozhi St George Church, Angamoozi St Thomas, Seethathode Mar Gregorios, Chittar St George, Vayyattupuzha St Thomas and Kudappana St Mary’s and will halt for the first night at Vadasserikara St Mary’s Church.

After leaving Vadasserikara, the pilgrimage members will be given receptions at Keekozhur St Peter’s, Maramon St Mary’s and Puthencavu St Mary’s and will reach Parumala at 7 p m.

Mathews Mar Thevodosios and sabha secretary George Joseph will accord reception to the pilgrimage team.
