Cusat: Govt Nominates 6 to Syndicate

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state government on Wednesday nominated six persons from the Senate of Cusat as its representatives in the university’s Syndicate. Kunnathunadu MLA V P Sajeendran, R S Sasikumar and R Anantharaman are the newly-nominated Syndicate members. All the three are affiliated to the Congress.

K A Zakkariya, Mahmooda Beegum and Joseph John, who were members of the previous Syndicate, have been re-nominated to the apex body. While Zakkariya and Mahmooda are Muslim League nominees, Joseph John enjoys the backing of the Kerala Congress.
