Kottiyoor rape case: Accused file anticipatory bail plea

Three people accused of concealing  facts in the case related to the rape of a minor in Kottiyoor filed anticipatory bail petition before the District Sessions Court, Thalassery, on Monday.

KANNUR: Three people accused of concealing  facts in the case related to the rape of a minor in Kottiyoor filed anticipatory bail petition before the District Sessions Court, Thalassery, on Monday.


The bail applications were filed by the administrator of Christhu Raja hospital Sister Ancy Mathew, gynaecologist Dr Sister Tesy Joseph and child specialist Dr Hyderali of Chrishtu Raja hospital. 


Meanwhile, Sr Ophelia, chief of the Holy infant Mary orphanage at Wayanad, have also filed an anticipatory bail plea in a court in Wayanad. 


The accused stated they were innocent in the whole issue and they had given all the information to the police during the inquiry.
